Hemm żewġ sinjali għal ID(D)AĦĦAK IN-NIES. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal DAĦAK. L-id tieħu l-forma ta’ L bis-swaba’ tal-L l-ewwel imdawrin mal-geddum imbagħad joħorġu ’l barra darbtejn. (ii) Imbagħad, l-id tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 u l-werrej jipponta ’l barra lejn il-ġenb. It-tieni sinjal ukoll għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħa bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-idejn jimxu min-nofs ’il barra lejn il-ġnub. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal DAĦAK bħal fl-ewwel parti tal-ewwel sinjal.
There are two signs for MAKE FUN OF. The first sign has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for LAUGH made with one hand that takes the shape of L with the L fingers round the chin. The hand then move outwards twice. (ii) Then the hand takes the shape of 1 and the index finger point outwards towards sthe side. The second sign also has two parts. (i) First, both hands take the shape of open 5 with the palm facing upwards. The hands move from the middle outwards towards the sides. (ii) Then the sign for LAUGH is made as in the first part of the first sign.
